We started the greenhouse rebuild in September. We hoped it would take us one month. Today is December 1. We aren’t done.
When I wrote last, it was early Oct and we had the steel half-walls up. It looked like this:

In the two months since, we have strapped the sides and ends, added slabwood

Built in frames for the large-pane glass and then slab-wooded around that.

Endcapped and strapped the roof

And over this past few days, finally got the roof on. Got the Palram up yesterday, and then today when we were unexpectedly stranded at home due to a thaw that wasn’t forecast, plus an entire night’s worth of heavy rain that turned the driveway into soup with the van up here at the house, we got the steel and trim up, also

The windows and doors still have to be finessed, trimmed out and installed, but we’re closed in ahead of the snowstorm that is forecast for tomorrow.
Three months behind, we finally have most of a building.
