Last weekend, we were recieving an insane amount of snow and wind. This weekend, it is above freezing and it absolutely poured rain last night. The footing is beyond messy. Ice and slush and mud.

On the upside, we got to do laundry and bathing for the first time in two weeks, and that was a blessing indeed. Especially so, as the cat is currently mad at me because I incarcerated him in a sleeper until his leg heals. He has decided to express his ire by revenge. He peed on MY SIDE of the bed 4 times in 24 hours. By the 4th time, I had acquired a shower curtain to cover the bed with, so he ended sitting in his own pee. Instant justice. However, the other 3 times still needed washed out. With borax and vinegar and baking soda.

This coming week, I need to see about having the van’s transmission checked out for leaks, and the battery cable leads replaced. Fortunately, husband’s employer got back to current on payroll, so things dont have to be so tight. The prospective new employer isnt hiring until May, so hopefully we stay in the black until then.
