Tis the Season.

Friday morning, Husband called me from work. He was sick, almost passed out. Needed to come home. So, we went and picked him up. With rest, he seemed to recover somewhat, but by Sat morning, he was down for the count with the super nasty flu bug that is going around

He spent all of Saturday in bed or on the floor, nauseated, dizzy, and in pain. I took the kids out to eat at lunch time because he couldnt handle the smell or thought of food.

Yesterday, I took the kids to mom’s for the usual bath and laundry day, but also to leave them there for a few days of Nana Camp. I came home alone around 5, and by 630, I too was flat on my back.

This is not a fun bug. Not that any bugs are exactly fun. This one hits hard, fast, and violently. Cough, fever, body aches, crazy headache, chills. I at least don’t have the nausea that he had. Feeling like I was run over by an Assyrian war chariot is bad enough.

It is a very great blessing that the children arent here, and I can simply sleep and recover. If this follows the same pattern as it has for others I know who have had it, I should be fine by tomorrow.

Mom says the younger two have minor symptoms, and hopefully that’s as far as it goes.
