Okay, so let’s review

• Unending rain for approximately the last 27 years
• Allergies are kicking my butt
• Asthma attack
• Giant hurricane bearing down on us this weekend.

My stress level is VERY high.

After the devastation of Hurricane Fiona at this time last year, I am not able to just shrug and say “what will be will be”. Just like last year, the ground is super-saturated and soft. The trees are in full leaf. The power infrastructure and trees are already damaged and fragile. The potential for damage is very high, and with all the fires and floods across the nation this year, relief funding and aid are already pretty maxed out.

I am having a very hard time with simply holding on and trusting the King of the Storms, whom the waves and wind obey. I am having a very hard time with resting in His peace and praising.
