Always Something

We were under a rainfall warning today. 40-70mm of rain in a 24 hour period. I would guess we got somewhere in the middle of that range. The puddles are ankle-deep at the moment.

Rain that hard, in a steel building, is rather loud. I like the sound of rain, though, so it was okay.

We did encounter a minor problem that serves as somewhat of a signpost as to what we need to work on next:

In the part of the wall under the window, we developed a minor leak. Considering the amount if water that was falling, it really isnt that bad, but neither would we want to leave it unaddressed and have the wood rot out. It is clearly time to get all the steel seams around the windows and doors sealed with silicone.

I would also like to get the eavestroughing on the downward edge of the roof, to prevent the amount of backsplash we currently see on the south wall.
