Winter was VERY wet. I have many posts on this subject. But since the snow melted, we have had almost no rain. And things were surprisingly dry.

This week, it is raining. Pretty much all week, although the greatest amount was yesterday.

And on one hand, we have a YAY! Because I have been planting and planting and planting, and a good, deep watering is very needed.

But also BOO, because the driveway is slimy again (although nowhere near to winter levels), and this bus is a VERY small space in bad weather when kids have energy and nowhere to go.

It does remind me, though, (again) why we designed the barn to connect directly to the house, old-school NewEngland style. Because barn chores in sucky weather is not my favourite
