We lost yesterday.

We prioritized personal cleanliness over progress and headed off for laundry and showers. Those things matter a lot

It wasn’t a huge loss. The hardware store isn’t open Sundays, so I couldn’t get more insulation, which is what we would truly need to continue. There are little jobs we could have done, but showering took precedent.

There is one way we progressed yesterday, though. We brought the first small load of boxes back from the storage truck. It’s a very tiny baby step, but it feels good to have made it. The loft is all closed in, now, so we can store our things without damage.

Today, we’re back into the grind. Finish the wire, more insulation, move forward and forward.
