We got a ‘wee dusting’ in the blizzard yesterday and last night.

The wind howled and threw things for more than 8 hours. This is the most snow we’ve had all season so far. Definitely a ‘shovel your way’ sort of day. Snow straight over the tops of the boots otherwise.
The doors did indeed hold closed despite the winds. There is a bit of snow in the loft where it blew in through gaps (which we will be closing), but nothing near as bad as it could have been.

Much of today was spent with getting the tractor running (it hasn’t been used up until now and needed several hours with the glow plug running) and clearing snow, but work did still happen on the build. I painted the loft door (2nd coat) and the doorframe thereof, and the goat door. And doors and gates were built also

I was planning to do more expanding foam today, but the nozzle broke before it could be used, so that got derailed. Also, the insulation we wanted to use is currently sold out just about everywhere. Insulation in general is in short supply here right now.
